Singer Valevska recalled one of her most painful performances

Ukrainian singer Natalia Valevska recalled one of the most unexpected and painful moments of her career, when she accidentally knocked out her own tooth right in the middle of a concert due to a technical glitch. Despite the shock, the artist did not interrupt her performance and continued singing until the end.

Ukrainian singer Natalia Valevska shared a story that, in her words, still evokes mixed emotions—ranging from shock to laughter—because early in her career, she found herself on stage in a situation that would be difficult to predict even for experienced performers.

The artist explained that the incident occurred during a live performance when the wireless microphone suddenly stopped working due to dead batteries, and to avoid stopping the concert, she decided to quickly switch to the wired microphone on the stand. “The batteries died. I didn’t want to interrupt the performance, so I decided to use the wired microphone that was on the stand. But the performer before me had plugged it in so tightly that I was holding the stand with one hand and trying to pull it out with the other—and that’s when I knocked out my tooth,” recalls Valevska.

According to the singer, at that moment she was sure that the situation looked much worse than it actually was, and that the injury was serious, because in her shock it seemed to her as if her whole face was covered in blood and the concert might fall apart right before the audience’s eyes. “I thought my mouth was full of blood and that I was standing in front of people without a tooth. It was a real shock. But I decided not to stop the performance and sang a few more songs in that state,” the artist added.

Despite the emotional stress, Valevska didn’t interrupt the concert and saw the performance through to the end; only afterward did she rush to a mirror, where she realized the situation wasn’t as critical as it had seemed to her on stage.

The singer herself notes that over her 25-year career she has experienced many similar unforeseen incidents, but this particular case became one of the most memorable and, over time, even brings a smile to her face. This was reported by UNIAN.

Earlier, Ukrainian singer Olena Topolia spoke about the progress of the investigation into the blackmail case of which she was a victim. According to her, the case is complex and has several angles, but there are already some results.

Olena Topolia also spoke about aid to Ukraine, Alyosha’s transformation, and changes in the Ukrainian entertainment industry: an exclusive interview.
