National Day to Be Celebrated in Linah, Saudi Arabia — Asharq Al-Awsat
In the historic city of Linah, south of Rafha in Saudi Arabia’s Northern Borders region, a series of national activities and cultural heritage events will be held for the country’s National Day. The historic Linah market will be the main venue for the celebrations.
Concerts and traditional performances
The program includes performances by local and international artistic groups, artistic acts, and solo musical performances. Equestrian displays and camel riding demonstrations are also planned, Asharq Al-Awsat reports, citing the Saudi Press Agency.
Puppet shows, children’s competitions, and a musical evening featuring traditional songs will also be organized for visitors.

Preparing the historic site
The municipality of historic Linah has completed preparations of the grounds, parks, and roads. Streets have been decorated with national flags and festive illuminations to welcome visitors.
Linah is among the most notable historic sites in northern Saudi Arabia. In the past, the city was an important stop on ancient caravan routes. Its historic palaces and market preserve the memory of the region’s past.
