Trailer for Ozzy Osbourne concert film released — Rolling Stone

The first trailer for the concert film Back to the Beginning, dedicated to singer Ozzy Osbourne’s farewell performance in Birmingham, United Kingdom, has been released. The film will arrive in cinemas on October 28, Rolling Stone reports.

Farewell concert in Birmingham

The show took place in Osbourne’s hometown in July 2025, less than three weeks before his death. Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, Pantera, Anthrax, Halestorm, Yungblud and other artists took part in the concert. Osbourne himself performed a solo set, followed by a Black Sabbath reunion.

Due to health problems, the musician performed seated on a throne. In the trailer, his wife and manager Sharon Osbourne says that he was told he might not make it through the concert, but he insisted on performing.

A song performed by the audience

The one-minute clip includes an episode in which the Birmingham audience sings Osbourne’s song Mama, I’m Comin’ Home to him. The full concert film will run for approximately two and a half hours.

The film was directed by Ben Wainwright-Pierce, who also worked on Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour and George Michael: The Faith Tour. The director of the concert footage broadcast live during the show was Tim van Someren. The film will be shown in cinemas with Dolby Atmos and 5.1 sound.
