Energoatom is completing repairs at several nuclear power plants ahead of schedule
NAEK Energoatom announced that the midpoint of the scheduled maintenance campaign at Ukrainian nuclear power plants is approaching.
According to Pavlo Kovtonyuk, acting chairman of the company’s board, some power units at the Khmelnytskyi and Rivne NPPs have already been returned to operation following the completion of maintenance work.
At the same time, repairs are continuing on other power units or will begin in accordance with the approved schedule. Scheduled work is also being carried out at the South Ukraine NPP.
According to Kovtonyuk, the repair campaign is proceeding ahead of schedule. Currently, scheduled preventive maintenance is being completed on average four days earlier than planned.
