Ukrenergo has announced whether there will be power outages on May 2

No power outages are planned in Ukraine on Saturday, May 2.

This was reported by Ukrenergo.

It is noted that no restrictions for industry or power outages for residential consumers are expected during the day.

At the same time, the company is urging Ukrainians to use electricity sparingly. In particular, they advise postponing energy-intensive activities to the period from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., when solar power plants operate most efficiently.

Consumers are also asked to be especially economical in the evening hours—from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

In the Kyiv region, 81 gas-fired power generation units with a total capacity of 103 MW are already in operation. Another 150 MW are currently being installed.

Russian troops attacked Mykolaiv with strike drones. The strike damaged energy infrastructure, leaving one of the city’s districts without power.
