Sephora to introduce Olive Young K-beauty selection in Singapore
Starting September 2, Sephora will introduce the Olive Young K-Beauty Edit selection of Korean cosmetics in Singapore as part of a global partnership with South Korean health and beauty retailer Olive Young. As Channel NewsAsia reports, more than 180 products from over 20 Korean brands will be available at Sephora stores in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Launch in Southeast Asia
The partnership was first launched in the United States in August. Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand have become among the first Southeast Asian markets where this selection will be available.
The Singapore assortment will include Bioheal Boh, Torhop, Beplain, Ongredients, Make P:rem, Cell Fusion C, Rejuran and Dr Althea, among others. Olive Young curated the assortment based on Korean beauty market trends, consumer preferences and product performance.

Spaces to discover cosmetics
The Sephora store at Ion Orchard in Singapore will become one of three regional K-Beauty Discovery Launchpads. The other two will operate at Fahrenheit 88 in Kuala Lumpur and Siam Center in Bangkok. The temporary spaces will offer themed selections, introductions to key products, information about cosmetics, product testing and interactive activities.
Sephora Southeast Asia and Oceania Managing Director Christina Strunz said that consumers in the region quickly follow new releases from Korea and expect prompt access to them. With spending of S$65 or more on Sephora x Olive Young K-Beauty Edit products, shoppers can receive an insulated bag while supplies last. With a purchase of S$40 or more at the Ion Orchard space, a Tyvek pouch will be offered.
