The NBU announced the exchange rates for June 23

The National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rates for June 23, 2026, leaving the dollar unchanged, while the euro continued its gradual decline. The U.S. dollar is holding steady near the psychological threshold, fully in line with the government’s current budget projections for this year.

According to the regulator’s updated data, the official rates are as follows:

  • U.S. dollar: 44.90 UAH (the rate remained unchanged compared to the previous banking day).

  • Euro: 51.41 UAH (down by 5 kopecks).

Stability in the foreign exchange market and protection of the hryvnia against sharp fluctuations are currently ensured by steady inflows of international financial assistance, which significantly strengthen the NBU’s gold and foreign exchange reserves and support the stability of the state budget. An additional positive factor is the projected slowdown in the country’s inflation rate to 7.85–7.9% by the end of June, which reduces devaluation pressure and curbs panic demand for foreign currency.
