Poll: Zelenskyy Leads in Voter Support, Followed by Zaluzhny and Fedorov
In a hypothetical first round of the presidential election, 22.3% of Ukrainians surveyed would vote for Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Valeriy Zaluzhny would come in second with 14.9%, and Mykhailo Fedorov would come in third with 13.4%, according to the results of a poll by the “Rating” sociological group, as reported by “Ukrainska Pravda.”
Next on the list of voter preferences were Kirill Budanov with 7.2%, Oleksandr Usyk with 5.9%, Petro Poroshenko with 4.6%, Ihor Terekhov with 4.3%, and Dmytro Razumkov with 3.7%. 2.3% of respondents are ready to vote for Andriy Biletsky, 1.7% for Yulia Tymoshenko, 0.8% for Serhiy Prytula, and 0.3% for Vitali Klitschko.
Another 4% of survey participants would choose a different candidate. 2.6% of respondents would not participate in the election, while 11.9% said they found it difficult to decide.
Valeriy Zaluzhny has the highest level of trust among the listed officials, politicians, and public figures—70%. Mykhailo Fedorov is trusted by 65% of those surveyed, Kyrylo Budanov by 62%, and Volodymyr Zelenskyy by 59%. Oleksandr Usyk was trusted by 54% of respondents, Oleksandr Syrskyi by 23%, and Petro Poroshenko by 21%.
Pollsters noted that over the past week, the level of trust in Mykhailo Fedorov rose from 35% to 65%, while trust in Oleksandr Syrskyi fell from 39% to 23%. The survey was conducted on July 20–21, 2026, using the CATI (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing) method among 1,000 respondents aged 18 and older. It covered all regions except for the temporarily occupied territories and areas without Ukrainian mobile coverage; the margin of error does not exceed 3.1%.
