James Garden has agreed to a three-year, $97 million contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers
Former NBA Most Valuable Player and 11-time All-Star James Garden has agreed to a new three-year, $97 million contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The player’s agents at Equity Sports informed ESPN of this, according to Al Jazeera English.
The deal includes a player option for the 2028–29 NBA season, as well as a trade bonus. Garden, who turns 37 next Wednesday, declined his $42.3 million player option earlier this summer in an effort to secure a long-term contract.
