Former Ukrainian national team soccer player Oleksandr Gorshkov plans to participate in a propaganda event organized by the occupying authorities in the occupied part of Luhansk Oblast. Prior to this, Gorshkov met with Leonid Pasichnyk, the Russian-appointed head of the Luhansk occupation administration. During the meeting, they discussed the upcoming event, which the Russian side is using to promote its own narratives in the temporarily occupied territories.

Alexander Gorshkov is a former player for the Ukrainian national soccer team. He played four games for the national team and scored two goals.
As a member of Zenit, he became a Russian champion and also won the UEFA Cup and Super Cup.
