The famous Brazilian soccer player Oscar shared his memories of what he saw and felt during his cardiac arrest

The former captain of London’s Chelsea survived clinical death late last year but was able to return to life thanks to the efforts of medical professionals and the support of his family.

The tragic incident occurred in November 2025, when the star midfielder’s heart suddenly stopped for 2.5 minutes.

According to the athlete, while showing no signs of life, he felt neither fear nor pain. On the contrary, the experience turned out to be surprisingly calm and peaceful for him.

“In those moments, I was having a dream where everything was wonderful. It was pleasant—not at all what I expected to see when I imagined my own death. My son’s voice brought me back to life. He said, ‘Dad, you have to come back!’” Oscar noted.

After emergency hospitalization and resuscitation efforts, the 34-year-old Brazilian was able to fully regain consciousness.

The medical rehabilitation process lasted several months, after which the soccer player decided to end his professional career for good.
