Everton snatch draw against Manchester United thanks to Maitland-Niles goal

At the start of the second half, Bryan Mbeumo opened the scoring for Manchester United: he cut in from the right flank and fired with his left foot from outside the penalty area into the far corner. James Tarkowski later stopped Cunha with a sliding tackle, preventing the Brazilian from scoring.

In the 66th minute, Everton brought on Jack Grealish, who began his second loan spell on Merseyside. In the 82nd minute, Tyrique George equalised with a powerful strike into the near corner of Senne Lammens' goal.
In the 87th minute, Benjamin Šeško headed in a pass from Luke Shaw, but Everton fought back. Maitland-Niles, who came on as a substitute, unleashed a long-range shot with his first touch to set the final score.
After three matches, Manchester United have four points and sit 11th in the table. Everton have collected five points, are in eighth place and have maintained their unbeaten start to the season.
