Harry Kane considers playing in the NFL and MLS in the future — The Japan Times
According to The Japan Times, England captain and Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane said in Needwood, United Kingdom, that he could try his hand at the NFL as a kicker in the future. He also allowed for the possibility of combining this with playing in MLS.
Possibility of playing in the NFL
The 33-year-old Kane told journalists at England's St George's Park training base that he could consider a career in American football more seriously depending on how the next five or six years of his sporting career unfold. At the same time, he stressed that he does not plan to do so while he continues playing football at a high level.
The footballer supports the NFL's New England Patriots and is a fan of former quarterback Tom Brady. Kane believes that taking penalties involves pressure and technique similar to those of a kicker's job. However, he noted that he would need between six months and a year of training to prepare for such a transition.

Kane suggested that if he plays in MLS in the future, he could combine playing in the American soccer league and the NFL given the seasonal calendars. For now, he wants to continue his football career for as long as possible.
