Graham Potter has named the starting lineup for the Swedish national team's match against Ukraine

Sweden head coach Graham Potter has announced the starting lineup for the semifinal playoff match of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The match will take place on March 26 at 9:45 p.m. at the Ciudad de Valencia Stadium in Spain.

According to Svensk Fotboll, the Swedish team has fielded its strongest lineup at this time, although the coach has made some adjustments to the midfield, leaving Hugo Larsson and Daniel Svensson on the bench.

Experienced goalkeeper Christoffer Nordfeldt will start in goal, while star forward Viktor Jökers will lead the attack. Contrary to earlier predictions, Jesper Karlström and Herman Johansson will start the match. Tre Kronor’s full starting lineup is as follows: Nordfeldt — Lindelöf, Ginn, Lagerbäck, Gudmundsson — Elanga, Karlström, Ayari, Johansson — Nygren, Jokeres. Anthony Elanga is expected to play closer to the attack, helping his teammates put pressure on the Ukrainian national team’s defense. The teams are currently finishing their warm-up before the start of this decisive match.

On March 26, the Ukrainian national soccer team will play a semifinal playoff match for the 2026 World Cup against Sweden. Artem Dovbyk, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Mykola Matvienko, Yevhen Konoplya, and Ruslan Malinovskyi are absent from Ukraine’s roster for the match. Alexander Isak and Dejan Kulusevski will not play for Sweden.
