Yarmolenko has signed a new contract with Dynamo
Legendary winger Andriy Yarmolenko has officially signed a new contract with Kyiv's Dynamo.
The new contract between the 36-year-old footballer and the Kyiv club is for one full season.
The extension of their partnership will allow the experienced leader to continue playing for his home team and reach new historic heights.
For the respected midfielder, the upcoming season will be his fourth since returning to the Kyiv club. The “White-and-Blues” press service announced the successful conclusion of negotiations.
The parties quickly reached an agreement on the player’s continued tenure in the capital.
During the 2025/2026 season, Yarmolenko demonstrated exceptionally high productivity in the Ukrainian Premier League. The footballer recorded 9 goals and 1 assist in 22 UPL matches.
Thanks to these statistics, he took an honorable 2nd place on the team’s list of top scorers for the season.
Currently, the experienced winger has a total of 123 goals to his credit in Ukrainian league competitions.
Thanks to these impressive numbers, the player has caught up with Serhiy Rebrov in the ranking of the top scorers in the history of the national championship and currently shares second place with him.
The winger is just two goals away from the all-time record held by Maksym Shatskikh (124 goals).
It is expected that the Kyiv team’s leader will be able to take sole possession of the top spot on this prestigious list during the upcoming season.
