Juventus defeated Parma 2-0 at home in a second-round match of the new Italian Serie A season. The Turin side scored both goals after players came off the bench: Nico Gonzalez opened the scoring, while Teun Koopmeiners set the final result.

Gonzalez scored after coming on as a substitute

As Channel NewsAsia reports, Juventus failed to convert several chances before the break and at the start of the second half. Gonzalez entered the pitch in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, he forced Parma goalkeeper Edoardo Corvi to make a save, and two minutes later he hit the far post.

The Argentine followed up his own shot and sent the ball into the net after it deflected off Parma defender Mariano Troilo. This goal was the first of the match.
