Leclerc and Hamilton discuss incident without written rules of engagement
After the incident at the Italian Grand Prix, Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton discussed the situation in person and decided to move on. However, they have not yet agreed on written rules of engagement on the track, Cyprus Mail reports.
Incident at Monza
On the first lap of the Italian round, Leclerc forced Hamilton onto the gravel. As a result, the Briton dropped from fourth to tenth place but later finished sixth. Leclerc retired after a crash at the end of the second lap.
Hamilton had previously called for written rules to be defined for racing between teammates. At the Spanish Grand Prix, he said that such agreements had not yet been formalized. According to him, there was not much time to discuss changes, and it is impossible to change everything in two days.

Conversation between teammates
Hamilton said that he and Leclerc spoke face to face, discussed the situation openly and honestly, and resolved it. He noted that tense moments between them may still occur, as both drivers are close in pace, aim to win, and want success for Ferrari.
Leclerc said that after the race he reviewed the video of the incident and acknowledged that he had gone too far. According to him, the drivers understand what actions should be avoided in the future, and the episode did not harm their good relationship. The Monegasque also said that after the crash at Monza, he felt neck tension for several days, but now feels well.
Ferrari's position
After 13 rounds, Ferrari are second in the championship, trailing Mercedes by 122 points. Hamilton is third in the drivers' standings, 76 points behind Mercedes leader Kimi Antonelli.
