Luchesca was hospitalized in Bucharest due to health issues
Mircea Lucescu, head coach of the Romanian national team, was rushed to the hospital after feeling unwell.
This was reported by the Romanian Football Federation.
The coach fell ill during a technical meeting before training. Medical personnel provided him with on-site care, after which he was taken to the hospital.
The coach’s condition has now stabilized, but he remains under medical supervision at a clinic in Bucharest.
It is reported that Lucescu is undergoing tests and treatment to stabilize his heart rhythm.
The Romanian national team will head to the match against Slovakia without a head coach—Ionel Gane will temporarily take over his duties.
Defender Vitalii Mykolenko commented on the Ukrainian national team’s defeat in the match against the Swedish national soccer team in the World Cup qualifying playoff semifinals.
Sabo, Kopolovets, and Fedorchuk also criticized Rebrov.
