"Paide" was eliminated from the Conference League after losing to "Rapid"

Estonia's "Paide Linnameskond" ended its run in the UEFA Conference League after losing 0–2 to Vienna's "Rapid" in the second leg of the third qualifying round. The Austrian club won the two-leg series 6–1, according to ERR News.

In the first leg, Rapid secured a 4–1 away victory, so Paide had to overcome a significant deficit. In the match in Vienna, home team forward Marco Tilio opened the scoring in the 37th minute. In the 82nd minute, Luis Schaub converted a penalty kick.

Rapid controlled the ball 65% of the time and took 23 shots, seven of which were on target. Paide had two shots, with one of the Estonian team’s attempts on target.

Paide advanced to the third qualifying round by defeating Lithuania’s “Hegelmann” with an aggregate score of 4–1, as well as Azerbaijan’s “Zira” with a 2–1 aggregate score over two matches. Rapid’s next opponent will be Portugal’s Benfica, which defeated Scotland’s Heart of Midlothian with an aggregate score of 6–1.
