Roosters and Broncos to meet in NRLW final for second straight year — ABC News Australia
In Australia, the Roosters and Brisbane Broncos will play in the NRLW Women's Premiership final on October 4. For the teams, it will be a repeat of last season's decider, when the Broncos won 22-18 after a controversial try by centre Mele Hufanga three minutes before the end of the game.
As ABC News reports, the Roosters enter the match after an unbeaten regular season. Last year's final defeat was the team's only loss over the past two years: during that period, the club recorded 30 wins in 31 matches.
Changes to the Roosters squad
The final will be the last game for the Roosters for Millie Elliott and Corban Baxter, who will retire after the match. Rima Butler will move to the Wests Tigers after the season.

Last year, the Roosters reached the final without injured halfback Tarryn Aiken and winger Taina Naividi, who was hurt at the team's final training session. This time, according to the outlet, the Roosters squad is fully fit.
Defending champions
The Broncos are the reigning NRLW champions, although there have been eight changes to their squad since the previous final. In particular, Mele Hufanga moved to the Warriors. At the same time, halfback Jesse Southwell joined the team, while Ali Brigginshaw will play the final match of her career.
At the end of the regular season, the Roosters won four matches by a combined score of 200-34. In the preliminary final, they defeated the Canberra Raiders 20-10.
