Shakhtar signed 18-year-old Brazilian Ryan Roberto for €9 million

Donetsk’s “Shakhtar” announced the signing of attacking midfielder Ryan Roberto from Brazil’s “Flamengo.”

The 18-year-old Brazilian signed a five-year contract with the “Miners,” and the transfer fee amounted to approximately 9 million euros.

Ryan Roberto is a product of Flamengo’s youth academy and made his first-team debut in January of this year, playing two matches in the Rio de Janeiro State Championship.

He also played for the U-20 team, where he appeared in 16 matches, scored 6 goals, and recorded 1 assist.

His primary position is left winger, though he can also play on the right flank as well as in an attacking midfield role. He has not yet been called up to any of Brazil’s youth national teams.

Roberto is the club’s latest offseason signing, following Bruninho, Gleyker Mendoza, and Oleksandr Karavaev.

Flamengo is one of Brazil’s strongest clubs, and Ryan himself is considered a promising talent who is rapidly progressing at the youth level.

This was reported on the club’s official website.

Earlier, Real Madrid responded to reports of possible interest in Bayern Munich and France national team winger Michael Olise, whom the media had linked to a potential transfer worth approximately 220 million euros.

Kędziora has returned to Dynamo Kyiv.

Brazil and Morocco earned important points in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
