It has been announced where the Nations League match between Hungary and Ukraine will be broadcast on September 25

On September 25, the Ukrainian national team will kick off its 2026–2027 UEFA Nations League campaign with a match against Hungary. The match will take place at Puskás Arena in Budapest as part of the Group Stage of Division B.

The match will kick off at 9:45 p.m. In Ukraine, it will be broadcast by the MEGOGO media service and the free-to-air channel MEGOGO Sport, which airs on T2 and cable networks, according to Ukrinorm.

In the entire history of soccer, the national teams of Ukraine and Hungary have faced each other only twice. Both were friendly matches and took place in 1992. The Hungarians emerged victorious on both occasions. On April 29 in Uzhhorod, they won 3–1, and on August 26 in Nyíregyháza, they defeated our team 2–1.

In another Group 2 match of League B in the first round, the national teams of Georgia and Northern Ireland will face off. The match begins at 7:00 p.m.

Notably, the 2026–2027 Nations League will be the first tournament of the new cycle for the Ukrainian national team under the leadership of head coach Andrea Maldera. The Italian coach took the helm of our team in May following the departure of Serhiy Rebrov.

Maldini has stated that one of his main goals in this role is not only to achieve results but also to develop a distinctive playing style for our national team.

Ukraine will play its first four Nations League matches over the course of 11 days. Two nominally “home” matches against Northern Ireland and Hungary will take place in the Slovak city of Trnava at the Anton Malatinsky Stadium.
