A supercomputer has identified the top favorite for the 2026 World Cup
According to the Opta supercomputer, the Spanish national team is the top favorite to win the World Cup. England, France, and Argentina are also among the main contenders for the title.
The Opta supercomputer estimates Spain’s chances of winning the tournament at 16.04%. The list of favorites for the World Cup also includes the national teams of England, France, and Argentina.
Opta’s ranking of favorites to win the World Cup:
- Spain – 16.04%.
- France – 13.18%.
- England – 10.87%.
- Argentina – 10.41%.
- Portugal – 7.18%.
The current World Cup champion is the Argentine national team.
