In Monaco, Sinner stopped training after 40 minutes due to exhaustion — Interia Sport
In Monte Carlo, Monaco, tennis player Jannik Sinner stopped training after just 40 minutes due to exhaustion. According to Interia Sport, the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera described the situation around the world No. 1 as a “red alarm signal.”
Knee problems
Sinner has not played since defeating Alexander Zverev in the Wimbledon final. He missed the American tournament series due to knee problems and also withdrew from competitions in Beijing and Shanghai.
The exact nature of the athlete’s knee problems has not been publicly specified. Italian media previously suggested that the tennis player might need surgery, but there has been no official confirmation of this from Sinner’s team.

Concerns ahead of the ATP Finals
Corriere della Sera reported that the Italian Tennis Federation, which provided Sinner with medical support and equipment, has expressed concern about his condition. The publication also noted that it is currently too early to predict whether the tennis player will be able to compete at the ATP Finals in Turin.
According to the newspaper, fewer videos of Sinner on court appeared after the training session in Monte Carlo ended early. Corriere della Sera linked these circumstances to the Italian athlete’s current problems.
