The Ukrainian synchronized swimming team won gold at the World Cup in Paris
The Ukrainian synchronized swimming team won the second stage of the World Cup in Paris.
This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
The winners in the acrobatic group were: Maria Hrynyishyna, Uliana Hrynyishyna, Vladyslava Kocherba, Yelyzaveta Lymar, Daria Moshynska, Amelia Volynska, Maria Zachepa, and Maria Zdorovtsova.
The judges awarded the Ukrainian athletes’ new routine, which they performed for the first time at an international competition, a score of 212.4735 points, a mark their rivals could not match.
The silver medals went to the Italian team (200.6714), and the bronze to Israel (194.6005).
Earlier, Ukrainian high jumper Oleg Doroshchuk became a World Indoor Championships medalist for the first time in his career, winning a gold medal at the competition in Toruń.
As a reminder, Ukrainian biathlete Taras Rad won his third individual medal at the XIV Winter Paralympic Games in Italy.
