The Ukrainian women's tennis team set a historic record
For the first time in its history, Ukraine’s women’s national tennis team has entered the top three in the Billie Jean King Cup team rankings.
After a stunning 4-0 victory over the Polish team, our tennis players secured a spot in the final round of the prestigious tournament.
Thanks to this success, Ukraine jumped five spots in the world rankings. This achievement set an all-time record for the “blue-and-yellows” in their history of competing in major women’s national team tournaments.
Currently, the Ukrainian team ranks third in the world with 1,066.25 points. Ahead of them are only the reigning champions—the Italian team—and the British team, which holds second place.
