Google will allocate $5 million to develop the digital ecosystem of the Obriy labor market
The technology company Google will provide a $5 million grant to modernize “Obriy,” Ukraine’s digital labor market ecosystem.
These funds will enable a significant expansion of the existing system and a substantial enhancement of its capabilities.
The updated platform will serve as an effective tool for ordinary citizens, private employers, and government institutions.
The official announcement of the strategic partnership took place on June 25 during the Ukraine Recovery Conference, held in the Polish city of Gdańsk.
Representatives of the American corporation expressed admiration for the resilience of Ukrainian society.
Google sees great potential in this project for the development of artificial intelligence in Ukraine.
The company’s leadership emphasized that the introduction of cutting-edge services will help accelerate the integration of internally displaced persons and veterans into modern economic processes.
“Ukraine is demonstrating to the whole world how technology and AI can be used to build a resilient economy even under the most challenging circumstances. This grant is not just funding for a platform; it is an investment in the exceptional human potential and ingenuity that we witness here every day,” emphasized Annette Krobber-Riel, Google’s Vice President for Government Relations and Public Policy in Europe.
