Ukraine will temporarily suspend mobile number portability
From June 29 to July 1, the service for porting mobile numbers between operators will be temporarily suspended in Ukraine. The restriction will last several days and is due to technical work being performed on the system.
This was announced by the National Commission for the State Regulation of Electronic Communications, Radio Frequency Spectrum, and Postal Services.
The Commission approved an order dated June 24, 2026, regarding the temporary suspension of number porting from 8:30 a.m. on June 29, 2026, until 5:30 p.m. on July 1, 2026.
Number porting processes will resume at 8:30 a.m. on July 2, 2026.
The State Enterprise “Ukrainian State Center for Radio Frequencies” and electronic communications service providers must ensure the temporary suspension of number porting processes.
This applies to Kyivstar PJSC, VF Ukraine PJSC, Lifecell LLC, TRIMOB LLC, International Telecommunications LLC, and LAIKAMOBILE Ukraine LLC.
Electronic communications service providers must inform subscribers about the temporary suspension of number portability processes, the National Commission states.
