AI actress Tilly Norwood suddenly began speaking Chinese during a recorded interview with host Piers Morgan and actor Tom Conti. A video of the conversation was published online, TechCrunch reports.
Conversation about Misaligned
Conti asked Norwood whether the other actors in the film Misaligned were real people or computer-generated images. At first, she replied that people had worked on the project — writers, editors, and directors.
After the question was clarified, Norwood said that the other actors were digital doubles, like herself. She began explaining that it was a hybrid production, but stopped in the middle of a sentence and then spoke Chinese for more than ten seconds.

Norwood's explanation
Morgan noted the unexpected language switch and asked why it had happened. Norwood apologized and called the situation a minor glitch. She said she had not intended to start speaking Chinese or imitate Piers Morgan, explaining that her “wires got a little crossed.”
Particle6 Group, the company that created Norwood, provided the digital actress for 75 simultaneous interviews with journalists during her first press tour. Norwood is promoting the film Misaligned.
