The Verge named the Google Pixel 11 the best choice in the lineup

The base Google Pixel 11 may be the best choice in the company’s 2026 smartphone lineup, according to The Verge. The publication rated the device 8 out of 10, noting that it offers performance on par with the base Pixel 11 Pro but costs $200 less—$899.

In the $899 configuration, the Pixel 11 comes with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The Pixel 10A costs $400 less; however, according to the reviewer, the Pixel 11 has a faster processor, more RAM and storage, support for Qi2 charging, and a telephoto lens.

The reviewer notes that there are few hardware changes compared to the Pixel 10: among the noticeable differences are new colors and a slimmer camera module. At the same time, Google has emphasized software capabilities, particularly camera-related features and tools designed to make the smartphone more useful.

The Verge cited the Pixel 11’s design, support for wireless charging up to 25 W, and exclusive camera features as its strengths. Among the drawbacks, the publication cites the limited number of hardware updates between generations, the high starting price, and the fact that the Proactive Assistance feature is not yet a compelling enough reason to upgrade to the new model.
