Ukrposhta has added a feature for paying for packages in its app

"Ukrposhta" has launched a new feature in the "Ukrposhta 2.0" app—users can now pay for packages and cash-on-delivery shipments online. In addition, in October, the company will temporarily waive the fee for redirecting shipments, including those that have already arrived at a post office.

 

The app now allows users to pay not only for the shipment itself but also for cash-on-delivery charges and customs duties on international packages.

Users can also send packages and letters, change the recipient, redirect shipments, transfer the right to receive a shipment to another person, and extend the storage period.

Free storage remains available for seven days in cities and 14 days in rural areas.

In October, it will be possible to redirect a package free of charge even after it arrives at a post office. Previously, free redirection was only available until the package arrived at the post office.

As the next step, Ukrposhta plans to launch delivery to parcel lockers and payment for parcels directly through them.

Earlier, Ukrposhta announced delivery times for packages despite shelling.

Ukrposhta will deliver marriage certificates to a number of countries.

As a reminder, Ukrposhta continues to install in-branch parcel lockers at its offices. They are currently operational in 15 regions of Ukraine and allow most customers to receive parcels without waiting in the general line.

Ukrposhta has suspended operations at its last brick-and-mortar branch in the frontline town of Druzhkivka in Donetsk Oblast due to constant Russian shelling and the threat to employees and local residents.
