Microsoft launches testing of Mythic Achievements for Xbox — The Verge
Microsoft has announced the launch of testing for the new Xbox Mythic Achievements system for participants in the Xbox Insiders program. The new award will be granted to players who have earned all base achievements in a game, following a principle similar to PlayStation platinum trophies.
Reward for all achievements
As The Verge reports, Mythic Achievements have already been added to supported games that users completed earlier, including Xbox 360 games. The Xbox team noted that during their next visit to their profile, players may see Mythic status in some of their games.
To receive the new award, players must earn all base achievements available in the game. In the achievement list, users will be able to separately view those they still need to earn Mythic status.

Xbox profile update
Xbox profiles will soon receive a separate tab for tracking Gamerscore milestones and Mythic Achievements. Microsoft is also updating the main achievement list: a progress indicator toward Mythic status will appear at the top of each game's page.
Last week, Mythic Achievements became known through a leak related to the Xbox app for PC. Information about a separate sound for unlocking the award also emerged at the time. Earlier, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma said that the equivalent of a platinum trophy would appear on Xbox later this year.
