17-year-old boys have been given a deadline to register for military service
The Lviv Regional Military Registration and Enlistment Office has reminded young men born in 2009—who will turn 17 in 2026—that they must register for military conscription by July 31.
This was reported by the Lviv Regional Military Registration and Enlistment Office.
They emphasized that this is not about conscription into military service, but about entering data into the state registry for the purpose of planning the country’s defense system.
There are two ways to register for military service: through the “Reserve+” app or by visiting the Military Registration and Enlistment Office in person at your place of residence.
To register in person, you must have an ID, a birth certificate, a 35×45 photo, and educational documents.
The TSK also clarified that a medical examination by a military medical commission is not required at this stage.
A meeting of the TSK on defense and anti-corruption is taking place in Kyiv on Friday, May 15. During the meeting, Valery Kravchenko, acting deputy head of the Kyiv City TSK and SP, provided answers to the questions raised.
