Yermak's lawyers are filing an appeal with the court
The defense team for Andriy Yermak, the former head of the Office of the President, is preparing an appeal after the former official was released from pretrial detention on bail. The lawyers plan to challenge the court’s decision through the established legal channels.
Andriy Yermak’s lawyer, Ihor Fomin, reported this in a comment to hromadske.
“We will not object to the preventive measure itself, but rather to the validity of the suspicion that served as the basis for applying this preventive measure. This is our legal position,” the lawyer noted.
Yermak commented onhis release from pretrial detention and expressed gratitude for the bail.
On May 18, journalists from “Schemes” discovered which companies had paid the majority of the bail for former Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak. According to the investigation, seven firms transferred over 94 million hryvnias, although 85 million were still needed to fully cover the 140 million hryvnias in bail set by the court.
