Budanov Responded to the Shooting in Kyiv Involving Law Enforcement Officers
On September 2, Kirill Budanov, head of the Office of the President, stated that law enforcement agencies are already investigating the shooting in Kyiv. According to him, the State Bureau of Investigations and the Office of the Prosecutor General are handling the investigation into the incident.
“The State Bureau of Investigations and the Office of the Prosecutor General are already handling the situation; it is important to ensure a thorough and impartial investigation, but no one has the right to kidnap military personnel with impunity, open fire on the streets of our cities, or issue and carry out criminal orders,” Budanov said in a comment to RBC-Ukraine.
As a reminder, public transportation in Kyiv has changed its routes due to roadblocks in Bereznyaky.
Prior to this, a shooting occurred in Kyiv, and security forces were spotted at the scene.
