Some Ukrainians may lose their reservations starting September 1

Starting September 1, 2026, the exemption may be revoked for employees of companies that do not confirm their status as critical businesses.

This was announced by lawyer Mykola Sirenko.

According to him, the decisions regarding the critical status of enterprises, effective as of June 2, will remain in effect only until September 1. Since the deferral directly depends on this status, employees may lose their deferral from mobilization once it expires.

However, this will not apply to enterprises that submit the required documentation by August 10 and meet the updated criteria. In such cases, critical status and deferrals will be extended until the end of their original term.

Furthermore, the restriction does not apply to enterprises in the defense-industrial complex that supply the needs of the Defense Forces and other military formations.
