Trains Are Being Delayed on a Massive Scale in Ukraine Due to Russian Shelling: List
Ukrzaliznytsia reported significant delays for a number of passenger trains due to damage to the railway infrastructure caused by Russian shelling.
As of 2:50 p.m., the trains with the longest delays are:
- No. 87/88 Dnipro — Kovel — +12 hours 53 minutes;
- No. 41/42 Dnipro — Lviv — +8 hours 57 minutes;
- No. 83/84 Lviv — Dnipro — +6 hours 59 minutes;
- No. 23/24 Chełm — Kyiv — +6 hours 46 minutes;
- No. 779/780 Sumy — Kyiv — +6 hours 08 minutes;
- No. 23/24 Kyiv — Chełm — +6 hours;
- No. 127/128 Lviv — Dnipro — +4 hours 55 minutes;
- No. 79/80 Dnipro — Lviv — +4 hours 42 minutes;
- No. 41/42 Lviv — Dnipro — +4 hours 28 minutes;
- No. 81/82 Kyiv — Uzhhorod — +4 hours 11 minutes.
Dozens of other trains are also running with delays ranging from 20 minutes to nearly 4 hours, including those bound for Kharkiv, Uzhhorod, Chernivtsi, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Vienna, Budapest, Bucharest, Przemyśl, and Chișinău.
Ukrzaliznytsia recommends that passengers monitor updates on train schedules, as the schedule may change depending on the security situation.
