Representative Dubinsky attended a session of the Parliamentary Committee for the first time in a long while

People's Deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky, who was previously a member of the "Servant of the People" faction, took part in a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax, and Customs Policy for the first time in a long while. According to preliminary reports, he joined the meeting remotely from a pretrial detention center.

According to Zheleznyak, Oleksandr Dubinsky, who remains a member of the parliament’s tax committee, participated in its work for the first time in a long while.

“For the first time in a long time (it appears he joined from the detention center), Dubinsky, who is still a member of the committee, joined the Tax Committee meeting, Yaroslav Zheleznyak said.

At this time, there is no official confirmation that the MP joined the meeting specifically from the pretrial detention center.

This was reported by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

Earlier, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv granted the prosecutors’ motion, ordering that the suspect, MP Oleksandr Dubinsky, be held in custody for 60 days without the possibility of bail. Although official authorities did not name him in their reports, the MP himself publicly confirmed the court’s decision regarding him. Investigators accuse the politician of systematically spreading Russian narratives via social media with the aim of destabilizing the situation in the country and disrupting mobilization efforts.

As a reminder, the court extended the detention of People’s Deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky. At the same time, the court set an alternative to pretrial detention—bail in the amount of over 33 million hryvnias.
