A member of the Kryvyi Rih City Council let her 11-year-old daughter drive

A video has surfaced on TikTok in which a member of the Kryvyi Rih City Council posted footage showing her 11-year-old daughter driving a car, with the politician herself, Svitlana Maksymchuk, sitting in the passenger seat and dancing while the car is in motion.

The video has already gone viral online.

The video shows the child sitting in the driver’s seat and driving the car, which is a gross violation of traffic laws and poses an increased risk to all road users.

Additionally, the footage shows that seat belts are not being used while the car is in motion, people are dancing inside the vehicle, and the driver is a minor who is not legally permitted to operate a vehicle.

According to reports, Svitlana Maksymchuk is associated with the political party “Servant of the People” and is the sister of regional council member Tetiana Chabanova.

Previous media and social media reports have mentioned various initiatives and decisions related to Chabanova’s activities that have sparked public outcry.

The video sparked active discussion online due to the child’s involvement in driving a car and the disregard for basic safety rules, which could pose a serious threat to life and health.
