The government purchased 5,000 pickup trucks for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and saved more than 2 billion hryvnia
The Ministry of Defense’s Defense Procurement Agency has completed an open tender via Prozorro for the purchase of 5,000 pickup trucks for the Defense Forces.
The vehicles were divided into several lots, and six suppliers will handle the delivery. The first vehicles have already been handed over to the military, and the entire batch is scheduled to be delivered by the end of the year.
The tender resulted in savings of over 2 billion hryvnias in budget funds. These savings are planned to be redirected toward other needs of the Defense Forces.
These are new vehicles with all-wheel drive, diesel engines, and a manufacturer’s warranty.
