The dollar is rising again, while the euro is falling: NBU exchange rate as of October 2, 2026

The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rate of the hryvnia against foreign currencies as of October 2. According to the updated data, the U.S. dollar rose by 15 kopecks, while the euro, on the other hand, lost 2 kopecks in value.

The official exchange rates for Friday, October 2, will be:

• 1 U.S. dollar – 44.83 UAH (44.68 UAH as of October 1);

• 1 euro – 50.69 UAH (50.71 UAH as of October 1).

This is according to data on the National Bank of Ukraine’s website.

The NBU fined the payment company iPay 16.5 million UAH.

The NBU has lowered the exchange rates for the dollar and the euro.
