Rain and thunderstorms are expected in parts of Ukraine on July 7: where will it be warmest?
On Tuesday, July 7, the weather in Ukraine will be mixed. Short-lived rains and thunderstorms are forecast for a number of regions, while dry and warm weather will persist in the east and in most southern regions.
According to meteorologists’ forecasts, variable cloudiness will prevail across Ukraine throughout the day. At night, brief showers are expected in the western regions, and during the day, the area of unstable weather will also spread to the northern and central regions, as well as the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions. Thunderstorms are possible in some areas.
Nighttime temperatures will range from +11° to +16°, and in the south of the country and in Zakarpattia, they will not drop below +19° in some places. During the day, temperatures in most regions will rise to +24…+29°, while in the west and north, it will be slightly cooler—+18…+24°—due to cloud cover and rain.
Winds will be predominantly southwesterly, with speeds of 7–12 m/s. Despite localized thunderstorms, forecasters do not predict any dangerous weather phenomena on a nationwide scale.

Residents of regions where rain and thunderstorms are expected are advised to monitor real-time alerts about changing weather conditions and take possible precipitation into account when planning trips and outdoor activities.

As a reminder, experts at the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center analyzed the climatic characteristics of July in Ukraine and outlined preliminary weather trends for the second month of summer. According to their estimates, July may continue to see above-average temperatures compared to the norm.
