Two Ukrainian brands have received international recognition
Ukrainian postage stamps continue to win over the global community, securing yet another victory at prestigious professional events.
This was announced on Telegram by Ihor Smilianskyi, CEO of JSC “Ukrposhta”
The stamps “Taxes. Army. Victory” and “Melitopol Is Ukraine!” received high acclaim in Prague and at the level of the Universal Postal Union.
The winner of the Praga Ars Philatelica competition in the Czech Republic was the “Taxes. Army. Victory” postage block, which took first place in the “Most Interesting Design Solution” category.
This project was implemented by Ukrposhta in collaboration with the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax, and Customs Policy.
The sketch was created by renowned artist Oleksandr Nikitiuk.
Another significant award went to the stamp “Melitopol Is Ukraine!”, designed by Natalia Kokhal.
At the “World’s Best Stamp 2025” competition, organized under the auspices of the Universal Postal Union (a UN agency), the Ukrainian entry took second place in the “World’s Best Offset Stamp” category.
The head of “Ukrposhta” emphasized that such victories have not only artistic but also significant political significance on the international stage.
After all, it is precisely at the level of international organizations within the UN system that the reminder that Ukraine is fighting for the return of its territories must be clearly heard.
“We are not just pleased that our stamps are gaining international recognition. In this case, it is recognition from the Universal Postal Union, which is a UN agency, and it is precisely there that the message must be heard: we have not forgotten our temporarily occupied cities, such as Melitopol, Mariupol, and others,” Smiliansky emphasized.
