The director of the State Bureau of Investigation's cousin worked for pro-Russian TV channels for years

Journalists have discovered that Rostislav Sukhachov, a former host on pro-Russian television channels, is the cousin of Oleksiy Sukhachov, the current director of the State Bureau of Investigations. The investigation also mentions their relative, Oleksandr Sukhachov, whom journalists found to own 143 properties in Kharkiv.

Rostislav Sukhachov worked for at least 17 years at pro-Russian TV channels, including: “Era” Television and Radio Company (linked to traitor Andriy Derkach); NewsOne and “Nash,” owned by Yevgeny Murayev, who is suspected of treason; and Zik, linked to Viktor Medvedchuk, a close associate of the Kremlin leader.

Journalists from the publication “Detector Media” note that Rostislav Sukhachov spoke about the harm caused by the Revolution of Dignity, expressed outrage over U.S. planes in the skies over Ukraine that he claimed might begin bombing, and suggested that the coronavirus was being deliberately spread in regions where voters support the Opposition Platform—For Life party.

Law enforcement officials have taken action against Rostislav Sukhachov’s former colleagues—Diana Panchenko and Nazar Diorditsa (who goes by the pseudonym Max Nazarov). At the same time, regarding Sukhachov himself, journalists found no evidence that he has been formally charged.
