In just one week, utility workers restored power to more than 650,000 households

During the week of July 20–26, DTEK specialists fully or partially restored power to more than 650,000 households in 415 communities in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, and Kyiv regions that had lost power due to Russian shelling.

The largest number of restoration efforts took place in Donetsk Oblast, where power was restored to 441,200 households. In addition, power was restored to 115,600 households in the Odesa region, 92,600 households in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and more than 660 households in the Kyiv region.

Due to another round of Russian strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, new emergency power outages have been reported. As of the morning of July 27, consumers in four regions remain without power, according to Ukrenergo.

As a reminder, in the Chernihiv region, about 7,000 people were left without power due to a Russian strike.
