Energoatom will spend nearly 29 million hryvnias on the search for new leadership
JSC "NAEK "Energoatom" has signed two contracts totaling 28.71 million UAH to recruit candidates for the positions of chairman of the board and members of the company's management team.
Under the agreements, Korn Ferry will receive 22.11 million UAH for recruiting the Chairman of the Board (CEO), the Chief Nuclear Safety and Operations Officer (CNO), the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and the Chief Project Delivery Officer (CPDO).
An additional 6.6 million UAH will be paid to Talent Advisors for the search for a Chief People Officer (CPO), a Chief Legal Officer (CLO), and a Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer (CCSO).
Payment for the services will be made in three stages: after the competition is announced, after a shortlist of candidates is formed, and after the completion of interviews and support for the selected candidate during their integration into the company.
As noted, if the supervisory board does not approve any candidate, the contractors will be required to continue the search without additional payment until a successful appointment is made.
The procurement was conducted without an open tender in accordance with a government decree. Energoatom explained that contractors were selected based on criteria including international experience, expertise in the energy and nuclear sectors, and experience in recruiting executives for state-owned companies.

Earlier, NAEK “Energoatom” officially received a license to operate a nuclear facility. On May 28, the company was issued a license to operate the Centralized Spent Fuel Storage Facility (CSFSF), allowing it to begin full-scale operations in accordance with safety requirements.
NAEK “Energoatom” reported that the scheduled maintenance campaign at Ukrainian nuclear power plants is nearing its midpoint.
