After being fired, Fedorov reported having more than 1.3 million hryvnia in his bank accounts

Former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov declared 1.11 million hryvnias in salary for six months of work after leaving office. 

He received an additional approximately 47,000 hryvnias from the Cabinet of Ministers.

Fedorov reported over 1.3 million hryvnias in his bank accounts. For comparison, in his 2025 declaration, he reported approximately 770,000 hryvnias.

His wife, Anastasia, earned 4.25 million hryvnia from business activities during the first half of 2026. Her bank savings grew from 45,000 to 600,000 hryvnia, and she also reported 15,000 dollars in cash.

After his dismissal, Fedorov received an exemption from mobilization, according to Goncharenko.

Former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov “went all in” with his appeal to Ukrainians. 

On August 19, a rally in support of Mykhailo Fedorov took place in Kyiv near the Verkhovna Rada, next to Mariinsky Park. Rally participants are calling for his reinstatement as defense minister as parliament prepares to make personnel decisions regarding the ministry’s leadership.

The Office of the President of Ukraine criticized former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov’s proposal regarding the holding of elections.
