Sternenko announced that he had ended his collaboration with Masi Nayem due to the Forest Gump case
Human rights activist and military officer Masi Nayem will step down as a member of the supervisory board of the “Sternenko Community” charitable foundation. The foundation’s founder, Serhiy Sternenko, announced this on August 22.
According to him, the reason for this was a difference of opinion regarding the legal assistance that Nayem’s firm is providing to the former deputy head of the Office of the President in the “Forest Gump” case.
Sternenko emphasized that he has great respect for Nayem, who had previously helped him and supported the foundation’s work. He also thanked the human rights activist for his service and for defending Ukraine.
“To avoid any manipulation on this basis and to prevent harm to the foundation, whose mission is to strengthen the Ukrainian military, Masi will step down,” Sternenko stated.
He added that the foundation’s team will continue to work on supplying the Ukrainian Armed Forces, specifically by developing solutions in the field of FPV drones and scaling up military technologies.
