ARMA has reached the final round of the selection process for the administrator of Morshyn

On August 22, ARMA announced that it had entered the final stage of the competition to select an asset manager for IDS Ukraine, a group that includes the producers of “Morshynska,” “Mirgorodska,” and “Alaska.”

“ARMA is nearing the selection of a new manager for IDS Ukraine’s assets linked to Russian oligarch Mikhail Fridman, who is subject to sanctions imposed by Ukraine and its international partners. Five bids were submitted by the deadline for participation in the competition. These bids concern the assets of the IDS Ukraine group, which includes the mineral water brands ‘Morshynska’ and ‘Mirgorodska,’ well-known to Ukrainians,” the statement reads.

It is noted that the competitive selection process has reached its final stage. Next, in particular, the submitted proposals will be evaluated, and the most professional and capable manager will be selected.

ARMA noted that it will ensure that the future management of the assets is carried out transparently, in accordance with the law, and with the greatest benefit to the state.

“Assets linked to Russian capital must operate within the Ukrainian economy and generate results for the state. This is precisely the goal of the IDS Ukraine management procedure,” the agency emphasized.

Earlier, ARMA canceled the tender for the management of the “Morshynska” and “Mirgorodska” brands’ assets.

Prior to this, it was reported that the Agency for the Search and Management of Assets (ARMA) would investigate the winners of the auction for the sale of 460 hectares of land on the Borzhava Plateau in Zakarpattia Oblast, who turned out to be individuals from the inner circle of Serhiy Lyovochkin — a People’s Deputy from the Opposition Platform—For Life party and former head of the Presidential Administration under Viktor Yanukovych.

The Asset Recovery and Management Agency refused to sign the auction protocols in the “Prozorro.Sales” system regarding the sale of 460 hectares of land on the Borzhava mountain plateau.
