Photo: A cow rescue operation was successfully carried out on the Ros River

In the Bila Tserkva District of Kyiv Oblast, emergency responders and police officers rescued a cow from the Ros River that had fallen into the water while drinking and was unable to climb out onto the steep bank on its own. 

After receiving a call to “101,” specialists from the 4th State Fire and Rescue Unit, members of the Bila Tserkva Special-Purpose Emergency Rescue Squad, and National Police officers were dispatched to the scene.

Using fire hoses, the rescuers carefully secured and pulled the exhausted animal onto dry land. The cow was unharmed as a result of the incident and was returned to its owners.

The incident was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv Oblast.

Soldiers from the 21st Separate Mechanized Brigade rescued a stork that had become entangled in an anti-drone net above the road and, due to exhaustion, kept falling after every attempt to take flight. 

After a Russian strike on Dnipro, a nest of newborn hedgehog cubs was found amid the rubble. Their mother was killed in the attack, but the five cubs miraculously survived.
